The invention provides a motion and control method for a bionic inchworm robot. A motion part is achieved through mechanical structure design. The motion and control method is characterized in that a machine body is divided into an upper part and a lower part; the upper part comprises trunks, connecting rods, connecting shafts and the like and is controlled by a moving motor; the lower part is a base and is controlled by a rotary motor; the two parts are connected through variant connecting rods; structural design is special, the body with the front section and the rear section connected is provided, and the posture of a motion body is changed periodically; the head and the tail achieve the pushing effect, the trunk base portion achieves the supporting effect, and the trunk base portion assists the head and the tail in regular alternation; a control part is achieved through a single-chip microcomputer SPACE061A and is characterized in that linear walking (advancing and retreating) or 360-degree free turning (left turning and right turning) of the bionic inchworm robot can be achieved through compiled programs and designed circuits; meanwhile, motion actions of the robot can be controlled through voices through specific person voice training.
