The invention discloses a power-saving escalator and belongs to the technical field of escalators. The escalator comprises an escalator body as well as weight sensors, control devices, driving motors and mains supply networks which are installed on all steps and sequentially connected; the escalator further comprises an electric energy feedback device comprising a sampling unit, a transmission unit and a central processing unit. Electric energy generated by the driving motors of the escalator is fed back to the mains supply networks, so that the energy-saving effect is realized.
