The invention discloses an air-condition electronic control system for an electric locomotive and a control method thereof. The system comprises a signal feedback unit, an air-condition control unit and an execution unit. The signal feedback unit collects fresh air temperature information and return air temperature information of the electric locomotive in real time, and feeds the information back to the air-condition control unit. The air-condition control unit judges and compares the collected fresh air temperature information and the return air temperature information in real time, and controls the execution unit to execute a corresponding control action according to a preset control strategy. The execution unit is connected with an air-condition unit and an air valve, and executes the start-stop operation on the air-condition unit and adjusting operation on the opening angle degree of the air valve according to the control of the air-condition control unit. The air-condition electronic control system for the electric locomotive and the control method can be specially used for a driver cab of the electric locomotive; the temperature variation condition is monitored and controlled in real time through the temperature control strategy, and corresponding feedback control and adjustment of the opening angle degree of the air valve are conducted, so that the locomotive environment temperature variation is smoother and more comfortable. Besides, various work patterns can be adjusted and changed timely, so that the energy consumption is effectively reduced.
