The invention relates to the technical field of locomotives, in particular to a pantograph control method, a pantograph and an electric locomotive. The pantograph control method comprises the steps: raising a pantograph, so that the pantograph makes contact with an overhead line system and receives a current, wherein the contact pressure between the pantograph and the overhead line system is firstpressure; detecting a current system of the contact network; and controlling a valve plate of the pantograph to adjust the gas flow of the compressed gas for pantograph lifting according to the detected current system so as to adjust the contact pressure between the pantograph and the overhead line system. According to the pantograph control method, the pantograph and the electric locomotive canbe subjected to current collection under various current systems, the number of the pantographs is reduced, and the universality of the electric locomotive in different regions is improved.
