In the range extending mode, power is supplied to the electric automobile by the power battery and the range extender at the same time, so that the operating load of the power battery is reduced, and the service life of the battery is prolonged; meanwhile, the use requirement for the power battery of the electric automobile is met, and the driving mileage of the electric automobile is increased; in addition, the capacity of the battery can be reduced, and cost of the automobile is reduced.
