Disclosed ia a heat-pump-type vehicular air-conditioning system. A cooling refrigerant circuit (14) constituting a base is provided with a first circuit (17) for connecting an onboard condenser (7) provided on the downstream side of an onboard evaporator (6) inside an HVAC unit (2), the first circuit (17) having a second depressurizing means (16) between the outlet side of a receiver (11) and one end side of a vehicle-mounted external heat exchanger (10); and a second circuit (19) having a solenoid valve (18) opened during heating between the other end side of the vehicle-mounted outside heat exchanger (10) and the intake circuit (13E) of an electric compressor (9); the vehicular air-conditioning system being provided with a heating refrigerant circuit (20) in which the electric compressor (9), a switching means (15), the onboard condenser (7), the receiver (11), the first circuit (17) provided with the second depressurizing means (16), the vehicle-mounted external heat exchanger (10), and the second circuit (19) provided with the solenoid valve (18) are connected in the stated order.
