The invention discloses a travelling crane suspending device for a valve tower. The travelling crane suspending device comprises two travelling crane main beams which are arranged parallelly, two travelling crane trolleys which cross over separately between the two travelling crane main beams, lifting ropes, lifting devices and insulators, wherein the travelling crane trolleys can move along the length direction of the travelling crane main beams back and forth; one end of each lifting rope is connected with the corresponding travelling crane main beam, and the other end of each lifting rope is connected with the corresponding lifting device; and the upper end of each insulator is connected with the corresponding lifting device, and the lower end of each insulator is connected with the valve tower. The invention further discloses a travelling crane suspending method for the valve tower. By adopting the travelling crane suspending device and method, the hoisting and moving of the valve tower are convenient, and the requirement on a testing siteis lowered.
