The invention provides an elevator balance compensation chain with steel balls. The elevator balance compensation chain comprises chain rings (1), a zinc coating (2), PVC outer cladding (3) and the steel balls (4), wherein the chain rings (1) are in mutual locked connection to form a long chain; the zinc coating (2) is adsorbed on the surfaces of the chain rings (1); the zinc coating is smooth, uniform and fine in surface; the PVC outer cladding (3) is uniformly coated on the surface of the zinc coating (2) to keep appearance of a metallic chain; and the steel balls (4) are uniformly distributed in the PVC outer cladding (3). The elevator balance compensation chain has the following technical effects: firstly, elevator operation noises can be effectively reduced, so that the elevator balance compensation chain is green, environmentally-friendly and not liable to get rusty, and has a bending diameter which is 1.5 times that of a common balance compensation chain; secondly, the elevator balance compensation chain is reasonable in structure, good in softness, flexibly bent, good in perpendicularity, not twisted, not cracked, long in service life and high in strength, and has high toughness and ageing resistance; and a mode of mixing the steel balls in the environment-friendly outer cladding is adopted, so that the elevator balance compensation chain has good cold resistance, and good weather resistance, and therefore, the environment-friendly function of the elevator is improved.
