The invention relates to underwater breathing apparatus. The underwater breathing apparatus comprises a control unit, an energy system, an evaporator, a liquid storage chamber and an connector which are connected in sequence, wherein the control unit is mainly used for controlling opening and closing of the whole apparatus and adjusting the release quantity of neutralization reagents; the energy system is mainly used for providing reliable electric power supply for a whole system and heating the evaporator; the evaporator is mainly used for heating the liquid storage chamber so that chemical reagents in the liquid storage chamber can be volatilized out to neutralize alkalinity of soda lime; the liquid storage chamber is mainly used for storing the proper quantity of moderate neutralization reagents; the connector is used for connecting an adaptor to a main system. The underwater breathing apparatus eliminates erosion of the soda lime to the respiratory tract of a diver so that the diver can work underwater comfortably. A special connector with the corresponding shape can be manufactured according to the specific model of non-foaming cyclic underwater breathing apparatus, and the diver can replace the connector with one hand, so the underwater breathing apparatus is convenient to adjust and use.
