The invention relates to an under-actuated flexible flat wing-type flapping wing flight robot. The bionic flapping wing flight robot comprises a flapping wing flight robot frame, a transmission mechanism, a flexible flat wing, a flexible flat empennage, a steering engine, a motor, a signal receiver, a battery and an electronic speed controller. The flapping wing flight robot is characterized in that the flapping wing flight robot frame employs phenol aldehyde laminated cloth board with low cost, the motor can drive a crank, a connecting rod and a rocking bar through engaging transmission of an active gear and a driven gear, motion of flapping and wing torsion with two free degrees are realized, and the empennage employs a split type flexible flat empennage. According to the invention, mechanism is simple, mass is light, cost is low, flight requirement of the flapping wing flight robot can be satisfied, and the flapping wing flight robot can be used for tasks of communication relay, environment research, natural disasters, low-altitude reconnaissance and signal interference.
