The invention relates to a vehicle monitoring and vehicle guiding method based on a mobile phone client, and a system thereof. The vehicle monitoring and vehicle guiding method comprises the steps that: an acquisition part is mainly responsible for reading vehicle-mounted information and map information and sending the information to a main controller; the main controller part analyzes the received vehicle-mounted information and map information, and sends information such as mileage, fuel consumption, speed, residual oil volume or residual battery power and faults to a mobile phone terminal, positions a gas station or a charging station through combining the residual oil volume and the fuel consumption with the map information, alarms and outputs the fault, and gives an instructive prompt of the closest maintenance station by combining the map; and a terminal execution part receives the information from the main controller, and prompts the driver through sounds and images. The system adopting the vehicle monitoring and vehicle guiding method comprises a signal acquisition module, a main controller module and a mobile phone terminal display module. The vehicle monitoring and vehicle guiding method based on mobile phone client and the system thereof can feed back driving state of a vehicle, and give correct guidance to the driver.
