The invention discloses an aloft secondary starting device for an engine for an unmanned aerial vehicle. The aloft secondary starting device for an engine for the unmanned aerial vehicle comprises a first gear, a second gear, a third gear, a fourth gear, a motor, a one-way bearing and an engine spindle. The first gear is mounted on the engine spindle through the one-way bearing. The first gear is engaged with the second gear. Both the second gear and the third gear are mounted on a rotary shaft. The fourth gear is mounted on the motor and is engaged with the third gear. The motor is connected with a protecting device. According to the aloft secondary starting device for an engine for the unmanned aerial vehicle, the micro large-torque direct-current brushless motor is taken as a power source, and two stages of speed reduction gears with the ratio being 9.7:1 are used for driving the engine spindle. In addition, the largest stage of gear is mounted on the engine spindle through the one-way bearing, the rotating speed of the largest stage of gear is higher than the rotating speed generated by the motor after the engine is started, the largest stage of gear is separated from a bull gear under the action of the one-way bearing, and the motor stops working accordingly.
