The invention discloses a locomotive maintenance system. The locomotive maintenance system comprises a portable client side sending GPS positioning information, position information of locomotive components located on the locomotive and type information of the locomotive components to a central server; a locomotive component management server registering the information of the locomotive components getting in and out of a maintenance workshop; a locomotive component replacement statistics server registering the information of the replaced locomotive components in the locomotive maintaining process; the central server sending the position information of a storage warehouse of the locomotive components and the position information of the locomotive components needing to be replaced to a robot track control server; the robot track control server drawing an optimal path and uploading the optimal path to the central server; an image collecting device storing the information of collected images in the maintaining process to a memorizer, wherein the central server controls a robot to transport the locomotive components according to the optimal path. The advantage of improving the component replacing efficiency of the locomotive is achieved.
