The invention discloses a maintenance system for a locomotive. The system comprises a portable client terminal for sending GPS positioning information, position information of a locomotive part on the locomotive and model number information of the locomotive part to a central server, a locomotive part management server for registering the information of the locomotive part accessing a maintenance workshop, a locomotive part replacement statistics server for registering the information of the locomotive part replaced in the locomotive maintenance process, the central server for sending locomotive part preservation warehouse position information and position information of the locomotive part required to be replaced to a robot trajectory control server, the robot trajectory control server for drawing an optimal path and sending the optimal path to the central server, and a locomotive maintenance process monitoring server for monitoring the locomotive maintenance process, wherein the central server controls a robot to transport the locomotive part according to the optimal path. The system realizes the advantage of improving the locomotive part replacement efficiency.
