The invention relates to the technical field of dust and snow sweeping and discloses a trolley running mechanism. The trolley running mechanism comprises a pulling rope, a guide rail and a trolley, wherein the trolley is driven by the pulling rope and moves along the guide rail; a hollow tubular cavity is formed inside the guide rail, and at least one part of the pulling rope is located inside the tubular cavity; a slot is formed in the guide rail, and the slot connects the tubular cavity and the exterior of the guide rail; a connecting arm is arranged on the trolley; and the connecting arm penetrates the tubular cavity through the slot and is connected with the pulling rope. By the aid of the trolley running mechanism, the rope which pulls the trolley can be effectively prevented from being rusted; the dustproof and waterproof capacity of the sweeping device is improved; and then the service life is prolonged.
