The invention provides a stratospheric aerostat skin and a production method thereof. The stratospheric aerostat skin comprises, superposed, a weather-proof layer, a barrier layer, a force bearing layer and a welding layer, wherein the barrier layer comprises a first aluminized polymer film layer, a second aluminized polymer film layer, and a two-dimensional sheet nanomaterial-resin layer positioned between the first aluminized polymer film layer and the second aluminized polymer film layer. The barrier layer of the skin comprises two superposed aluminized polymer film layers, and the two-dimensional sheet nanomaterial-resin layer positioned between the two aluminized polymer film layers. The two-dimensional sheet nanomaterial-resin layer has a better gas barrier performance than nanomaterial-resin layers with other shapes. In the barrier layer, the two aluminized polymer film layers and the two-dimensional sheet nanomaterial-resin layer positioned between the second aluminized polymer film layers form strong gas blocking barrier, so the gas transmittance of the whole skin is reduced, thereby an aerostat maintains stable for a long term.
