The invention provides a driving safety monitoring method, comprising the following steps of arranging sensors on rearview mirrors at left and right doors and detecting distances between a vehicle and vehicles on left and right sides; arranging a sensor on a rear bumper and detecting the distance between the vehicle and a vehicle at the rear side; arranging cameras on the rearview mirrors at the left and right doors and starting the cameras when the sensor detects that the vehicle at the rear side comes up; performing power amplification on induction signals output by the sensors on the rearview mirrors at the doors and the sensor on the rear bumper through an operational amplifier; converting the induction signals into digital forms from analog forms through a D/A converter; processing signals of images taken by the cameras on the rearview mirrors at the doors through an image processing module, receiving the induction signals and the image signals through a controller, outputting a prompt signal to a display, and outputting the shot images on the display when the sensor detects that the vehicle at the rear side comes up.
