The invention provides a driving safety monitoring system. The driving safety monitoring system comprises rearview mirror sensors, a rear bumper sensor, cameras, an operational amplifier, a D/A (digital/analog) converter and a controller, wherein the rearview mirror sensors are arranged on rearview mirrors of left and right automobile doors and used for detecting distances between an automobile and vehicles on the left and right side of the automobile, the rear bumper sensor is used for detecting a distance between the automobile and a vehicle behind the same, the cameras are arranged on the rearview mirrors of the left and right automobile doors and are started when the sensors detect incoming vehicles behind the automobile, the operational amplifier is connected to the automobile door rearview mirror sensors and the rear bumper sensor and used for outputting sensing signals subjected to power amplification, the D/A converter is used for converting the sensing signals from an analog mode to a digital mode, and the controller is connected to the D/A converter, is connected to the automobile door rearview mirror cameras through an image processing module, is used for outputting prompt signals to a displayer and is used for outputting shot images on the displayer when the sensors detect the incoming vehicles behind the automobile.
