The invention provides a parking space detection method, a magnetic sensitive detector, a server and a parking space detection system. The method includes allowing the magnetic sensitive detector to acquired the peripheral magnetic field information according to preset acquisition frequency; when peripheral magnetic field disturbance occurs, adjusting the preset acquisition frequency to allow the adjusted acquisition frequency to be larger than the preset acquisition frequency, deleting invalid data of the magnetic field information, and extracting features from the valid data as the magnetic field disturbance data; when the magnetic field on the periphery of the magnetic sensitive detector is turned stably from disturbance, adjusting the current acquisition frequency to be the preset acquisition frequency, deleting invalid data of the magnetic field information, and extracting features from the valid data as the magnetic field stable data; allowing the server to determine whether vehicles are parked in the parking spaces of the region where the magnetic sensitive detector located or not according to the magnetic field disturbance data, magnetic field stable data and magnetic field historical stable data. The processing capability requirement of the magnetic sensitive detector is low, and the power consumption and false detection rate are decreased.
