The invention relates to a method for identifying a vehicle changing lanes across a full line at a traffic intersection. The method comprises steps as follows: 1) a system for identifying the vehicle changing the lanes across the full line at the traffic intersection is provided and comprises a mobile HDD (hard disk drive), an AT89C51 microcontroller, image identification equipment and high-definition camera equipment, the mobile HDD pre-stores full line image characteristics of the traffic intersection, the high-definition camera equipment performs image acquisition on the traffic intersection to acquire two intersection images at a preset interval, the image identification equipment is connected with the high-definition camera equipment and the mobile HDD respectively and processes the two intersection images respectively on the basis of the full line image characteristics, and the AT89C51 microcontroller is connected with the image identification equipment and determines whether the vehicle changing the lanes across the full line exists at the traffic intersection or not on the basis of image processing results; 2) the system is used for identification.
