The invention provides a car starting control method. The car starting control method comprises the steps of receiving a request for starting a car by a mobile terminal; acquiring a first position coordinate and a second position coordinate by the mobile terminal, wherein a first locator arranged in the car adopts a satellite location technique to acquire the first position coordinate, and a second locator in the mobile terminal adopts a satellite location technique to acquire the second position coordinate; determining that the first position coordinate and the second position coordinate are identical by virtue of the mobile terminal; transmitting an instruction for starting the car to a controller of the car by the mobile terminal by virtue of a pre-established communication connection, wherein the instruction is used for controlling a car door of the car to be opened and allowing the ignition. The invention also provides a mobile terminal. According to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the invention, the keyless starting of the car can be realized by virtue of the mobile terminal carried with the user, an RFID chip can be prevented from being carried by the user, and more convenience in use can be realized.
