The invention discloses an accelerator and brake control mechanism which comprises a lever mechanism I and a lever mechanism II, wherein the lever mechanism I and the lever mechanism II are respectively linked with a brake mechanism and an accelerator mechanism; when no external force acts, the lever mechanism I and the lever mechanism II automatically return to initial positions under the action of the brake mechanism and the accelerator mechanism; when the lever mechanism I and the lever mechanism II are positioned in the initial positions, the brake mechanism and the accelerator mechanism are in a non-stepping state; a driving part I and a driving part II respectively drive the lever mechanism I and the lever mechanism II to operate. In order to reduce the quantity of input power sources, the driving part I is linked with the driving part II. When the driving part I drives the lever mechanism I to move, the lever mechanism I drives the brake mechanism to operate, and the driving part II does not generate an effect on the lever mechanism II, and the lever mechanism II and the accelerator mechanism are both positioned in the initial positions at the moment.
