The invention discloses a self-balancing wheelbarrow with a gravity center self-adjusting function. The self-balancing wheelbarrow comprises a wheelbarrow body and two pedals arranged on installation columns on the two sides of the wheelbarrow body. Each pedal is connected with a lead screw in a rotating mode. A motor used for driving the corresponding lead screw to rotate is arranged in each pedal. The lead screw and the installation columns are connected in a threaded and transmission mode. The motors are electrically connected with a controller of the wheelbarrow. When the speed of the wheelbarrow is high, the lead screws are driven by the motors to reversely rotate so that the pedals can be driven to move to the rear portion in the advancing direction of the wheelbarrow; thus, when braking is needed, a user only needs to slightly lean the body backwards, the gravity center is instantly moved to the rear portion of the wheelbarrow, in-time braking can be achieved, and it can be ensured that the phenomenon that the user falls when the backward leaning range of the user is excessively wide can not happen.
