The invention discloses a crane and sling thereof. The sling comprises an upper sling rack, a lower sling rack, a rotary device and a driving mechanism. The lower sling rack is rotatably arranged below the upper sling rack through the rotary device; a plurality of lifting pulleys are movably arranged on the upper part of the upper sling rack; the driving mechanism is connected with the lifting pulleys; and the driving mechanism is used to adjust the spacing between the plurality of lifting pulleys. The offset load steady revolution principle of the sling provided by the invention is by increasing the distance between the lifting pulleys, namely the safety range allowing load-carrying eccentricity of the sling is increased. In this way, for freight transportation or loading in storage yard, dock or freight station, detection of offset load direction and partial load amount can be omitted, so as to simplify the structure as well as avoid the security risks caused by the instability of the electrical system.
