The invention discloses an automatic stopping device for a crane machine. The automatic stopping device comprises a base and a rack on the base, wherein the rack is provided with a horizontal rotating shaft; a clutch is arranged at one end of the rotating shaft; a first gear is fixedly connected to the other end of the rotating shaft; a second gear is arranged on the rack; the second gear and the first gear are meshed with each other; the second gear is fixedly connected with a mandrel; a rotating disc for winding a steel wire is arranged on the mandrel; a vertical lever is connected with the mandrel; a roller which is in adhesion contact with the mandrel is arranged on the lever; a sliding groove is formed in the lever; a sliding block with a fixed guide track is arranged on the outer side of the lever; pins are connected between the fixed guide track and the sliding groove in a sliding manner; the sliding block is fixedly connected with a sleeve; a handle is arranged on the sleeve; the handle is supported on the sleeve through a spiral spring; the sleeve is connected with the clutch. The automatic stopping device aims at solving the problems that conventional automatic stopping equipment which is additionally arranged on a crane machine is large in occupied space, large in number of components and parts and high in repairing cost.
