A variable-length armored cable for a wave glider is disclosed including a ship body cable connecting block, an upper cable section, motors, a middle cable section, a lower 5 cable section, a submerged glider cable connecting block and a cable. One penetrating through hole is formed in an upper end of the ship body cable connecting block. One of the motors is fixed to a lower end of the ship body cable connecting block, another end of a motor shaft of the one motor are fixed to a through hole in an upper end of the upper cable section. One penetrating through hole is formed in the upper end of the upper cable 10 section, the another one of the motors is fixed to a lower end of the upper cable section. One penetrating through hole which is the same as the penetrating through hole in the upper end of the upper cable section is formed in an upper end of the submerged glider cable connecting block. Three penetrating through holes are formed in a lower end of the submerged glider cable connecting block, and the cable is fixed to a surface of a wave 15 glider armored cable. [FIG. 1] - 2-52 2-4
