A steel wire rope suspension device, a control method and a multi-rope friction lifting system, the steel wire rope suspension device comprising: a first beam (6), a second beam (9), a suspension cylinder (14), and a suspension joint (15), which is used for connecting a lifting container (30), while the first beam (6) and the second beam (9) are used for a steel wire rope (1) to pass through and for fixing the steel wire rope (1), and two ends of the suspension cylinder (14) are connected to the second beam (9) and the suspension joint (15), respectively; further comprised are a wedge-shaped joint (8) and a steel wire rope bias limiting mechanism, the wedge-shaped joint (8) being disposed in a receiving chamber provided within the second beam (9), while the steel wire rope bias limiting mechanism is disposed between the wedge-shaped joint (8) and the second beam (9), and may drive the wedge-shaped joint (8) to lock a section of the steel wire rope at a side thereof and remove a restriction on the movement of a section of the steel wire rope at another side when the second beam (9) is displaced in a pre-determined direction relative to the first beam (6). By means of said configuration, the wedge-shaped joint need not be disassembled and a dedicated rope adjusting apparatus is not required when rope adjustment is required, and thus the rope adjusting operation may be performed conveniently.
