Austro Daimler-Puchwerke A.-G. of Vienna have developed pneumatic tired railcar to assist railways in meeting road bus competition; vehicles are built in single, twin, or triple form and designed for use with safety and comfort at speeds of 60 to 75 mph; leading factor in design of vehicle is low cost of operation and upkeep; car driven by 6-cyl, 4-stroke water-cooled engine, using gasoline as fuel.
