Gear installed on two Diesel tugs; by interposing in usual hand gear leads, system of pulleys, it is possible for small movement of hydraulic gear to produce requisite movement of tiller; each aggregate consists of 2-cylinder 4-stroke gasoline engine driving through friction coupling high-pressure gear-wheel pump; steering can at any time also be done by hand.
