Methods of aircraft power drive as means of supplying aircraft systems power remote from propulsive engines are presented showing that integration of subsystems into unified system can be beneficial to each in terms of weight and engine power offtake without detriment to integrity standards; it is proposed to use engine bleed air direct for high power, short term duties, and to recover otherwise wasted heat in cabin conditioning air to provide accessory power; separate and dual h-p pneumatic system is maintained by accessory packs; functions in systems integration complex are shown in graphical form; description and specifications of integrated system; considerable simplification and weight saving in propulsion engines are expected.
