Tabulation of propulsion systems currently in use or under development most of which use earth storable propellants, based upon nitrogen oxide oxidizers and amine fuels; specific impulses range between 275 and 315 sec depending upon propellant combination and area ratio; review of characteristics, including performance, storability, restart, and throttling; their limitations are discussed with emphasis in area of long-term storage coupled with high performance; future trends in chemical space propulsion.
