Report summarizes experience acquired to date by Highway Transportation Agency in study of various means of giving advance warning to drivers of motor vehicles of need for greater alertness and caution in driving during periods of reduced visibility; preliminary studies show that present tail lights are of very little value to indicate presence of vehicle in low brightness, thick, daytime fog; summary of findings; recommendations.
