Review of "ground transportation problem" as it influences and relates to air travel suggests that ground access-travel time and effort can be reduced more effectively by alteration of air technologies, by airport specialization and by relocation of air terminals than by modification, expansion or development of ground transport systems; high frequency and direct access should be provided at both ends of trip at airports which include facilities for ground and water transportation.
