Curtis three-phase turbo-alternators, each rated at 10,700 kw., 3000 volts, at 3000 r.p.m.; these supply current to two synchronous-type three-phase propulsion motors, each designed to deliver 14,000 s.hp. at 125 r.p.m., at pressure of 3000 volts.
