Redistribution of revenue from road congestion pricing is the key to the implementation of road congestion pricing, especially in as it contributes to overcoming public aversion to congestion pricing. However, how to redistribute the congestion pricing revenue still awaits further studies, particularly in China. This paper first reviews previous work on revenue redistribution theory both at home and abroad, then introduces several successful instances of congestion pricing systems, including ones in Singapore and London At the same time, their successful experiences in revenue redistribution are analyzed. Finally, it proposes some implementation strategies for revenue redistribution in China according to our current situations of urban transportation.
