Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) is a problem that presents difficulties in placing lines using the most popular methods to locate an on-board circuit failure via an off-line addition interface test for a high-speed maglev train. To find a more practical and more reliable method, probe points have been used to locate the circuit failure by using test probes to obtain the status of the operating circuits. The performance is demonstrated according to theory analysis and a simulation test. The proposed method can avoid additional EMI and is still useful for circuits or systems without considering testing when designing.
