Today, robots are used in many areas of human activity, where their direct participation can endanger a person’s life and health. One such area of activity is the exploration of dangerous territory. It could be an infected area, a captured building, rubble at the site of a disaster. In order to increase the probability of safe execution of the task for exploration began to use thrown robots. Their main difference is their small size and weight. They are designed so that people can carry them on their own, without being overwhelmed by the robot’s own weight. And so that they can be thrown from afar into the necessary area of action. That’s where they got the name of the robot, they’re throwing in.
