The airframe and the aircraft systems are introduced with a view of the continuous interactions between them. A description of the mechanism by which the key characteristics of each system are presented features a generic text and diagrammatic presentation. There are factors that act in common on all systems directly and indirectly as a result of the environment they inhabit, for example environmental conditions such as temperature, vibration, and electromagnetic effects. Interfaces, integration effects, and interactions are described for each of the systems in Chapters 3, 4, and 5.
