In view of complicated driving conditions, tough working environments and frequent rollovers of forklift trucks, this paper, based on the ADAMS software, builds the kinetic model of counterbalanced forklift trucks to perform simulation study on the lateral stability under zero load and full load, analyzes factors affecting the lateral; stability of forklift trucks and concludes the yaw velocity range of forklift trucks when forklift trucks are at the near-rollover moment, which provides references for enhanced control over lateral stability of counterbalanced forklift trucks.
