The classification of deep drawing sheet by stamping for CA7220 RED FLAG sedan was investigated. Then the strain after forming was measured by means of grid method, and forming limit diagrams and strain diagrams of stamp parts were obtained. The critical parts of oil pan were determined by use of FEA (Finite Element Analysis), the safety tolerance in forming of stamp parts was calculated. An optimal material selection forecast was made.
