A simplified model is developed to simulate car passenger compartment and its air conditioning system. The model allows a quantitative and qualitative confirmation of the various heat exchange phenomena occurring in the passenger compartment. Using the model, several validations for different are achieved for different car cabin and different A/C system configurations. Comparison between test and simulated results shows good agreement. The major advantages and performances of this model are presented.
