A two fluid model that distinguishes four flow regimes, slug/bubbly, stratified, annular, and mist and includes an arbitrarily directed, time dependent body acceleration is described for the FLOW-NET program. FLOW-NET also includes homogeneous flow and drift flux models, and provides steady and transient flow simulation capability on IBM compatible personal computers. An example calculation is included for cooled ammonia vapor flow in a time dependent gravitational environment that ranges from terrestrial to micro gravity values and spans the full spectrum of flow regimes. Comparison with analytical results shows excellent agreement.
