To guarantee the quality of the product and meet the manufacturing process industrial engineering deadlines for the launch of a new vehicle, the Stamping Department of the PEUGEOT-CITROEN Group Bodywork Methods Division is equipped with a complete range of CAD and digital simulation tools. Use of these different computer instruments during the stamping procedure design phases and definition of the manufacturing resources, tooling and technical configuration of the press lines, will be illustrated by means of an actual example for the industrial engineering of a stamping.
