Part 2 describes the model testing, design details and construction af a 75-foot tractor design, modern oil recovery vessel for open water and coastal operation. Principal characteristics are: Loa=22,86m, LWL=21,64m, B(on deck)=6,55m, B(over fenders)=7,67m, B(on waterline)=6,17m, Depth=2,92m. Part 3 reviews the underwater appendage design, the problems and solutions.
