A process transonic viscous code was used to make a comparative study of the experimental data from the NAL 0.3m tunnel with 8 % and 2 % areas ratio with a view to establishing the use of a simple technique for escertaining whether the experimental results obtained in the wind tunnel could be considered correctible for the interference effects or whether they are totally distorted due to the tunnel walls. The study conducted in the present work clearly shows the usefulness of the CFD codes in this assessment.
