This work deals with Diesel engine pollutants estimation. Although, the combustion process in internal combustion engine is very complex, the formation of products can then be predicted in order to reduce or to control automotive polluting emissions. With approximations, we firstly, have built a physical model, writing and solving equations related to our system. This model is based on our knowledge of the combustion process. In actuality, the regression model is based on engine speed, air flow and fuel flow. Secondly, we have also used the proposed model for identification and prediction of Diesel emissions through opacity.
