Electro Test Industries' ETI120 test system is illustrated and three of its applications are described. One is the testing of the Renault 25 V-6 injection model dashboard in production. Another is inspection of electronic ignition systems for short-circuits, continuity defects, leakage and insulation faults, with dynamic testing of regulated current, overvoltage, desaturation time, transistor saturation and electrical delay. The third application is the testing of electronic packages via appropriate interfaces.
