In keeping with the cost-effective design and fabrication of small spacecraft, the UoSAT Unit has developed an inexpensive yet sophisticated groundstation for the control of, and the automatic gathering of data from, the two UoSAT satellites in Earth orbit. The design philosophy and architecture of the station are described.
