Normally, after the computer working very long hours under the thermal environment, the components temperature inside the CMT (Convertible Mini Tower) may over the spec. The temperature inside the desktop computer chassis is too high, which affect the normal operation of the equipment. In order to effectively avoid this situation, not changing the installed position of the components inside the computer chassis, the structure design for the internal duct of the computer chassis and the thermodynamic analysis can be done by Icepak. Then the optimization of the model can be accomplished. The results show that the design can effectively reduce the temperature inside the computer chassis. It can also ensure the stable operation of the equipment.
