Human factors have been found to be the major cause of vehicle accidents. Concerning the primary safety in vehicles, adaptive driving-supports with individual operational ability as well as driving contexts are necessary for preventing accidents. Safety driving assist systems are classified into three phases as paying attentions for driver, alerting the dangerous situation and letting the urgent avoiding operation according to the amount of the emergency. The items of these systems are composed with visual and auditory devices depending on the human sensitivities. In this paper, for assisting and letting the driver to pay attention for recognising the surroundings, to notice the traffic situation and also to decide to make for safer driving, the combinations of driving assistant systems were designed with audio-visual alerts and the effects of these systems were also verified for old drivers.
